The Global Campaign for Education has released a report on inclusive education for children with disabilities, including children with autism.
The ‘Equal Right, Equal Opportunity’ report summarises current evidence of the exclusion of children with disabilities from education and urges national governments to adopt appropriate legal frameworks for inclusive education.
The report also calls on all countries to ratify the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and to implement the rights of children with disabilities through national plans for inclusive education.
