Technology for Autism in Canada: “Autism without borders meeting” in Canada

On October 20-21, 2016, the “Rendez-vous TSA sans Frontières” (“Autism without borders meeting” in English) was held in Laval, Canada, under the leadership of Mr. Germain Lafrenière, President of TSA sans Frontières. During this event, technology for people with autism was discussed. In addition to the themes that were explored by renowned speakers, the participants also heard the “Ensemble Calliopée” choir from Paris.

Speakers such as Roger Godbout, Ph.D. (Department of Psychiatry, University of Montreal), Laurence Genet (APPEDIA: Association of Parents and Professionals for Education, Development and Integration of Autistic people and their families), Dany Lussier-Desrochers (Professor in the Department of Psychoeducation at the University of Quebec), Claude Gagnon and Marie-Caroline Côté (Centre for Educational and Pedagogical Resources – CREP) and Alexandra Gladu (Speech Therapist) were part of the panel of speakers.
