An EU Strategy for Autism to Leave No One Behind– European Parliament, Brussels, Belgium

On the 25 September, Autism-Europe is organising a conference hosted by MEP Nicola Caputo in the room ASP 3H1 of the European Parliament in Brussels.

The event will explore the possibility of a future EU strategy on autism, and the added value it could give in improving the quality of life of autistic people and their families.

It will also be an occasion to present recent research into autism prevalence, early detection, ageing and the social costs of autism in different EU countries and regions. The research was conducted as part of the ASDEU programme, a grant for research into the social elements of autism, created at the request of the European Parliament.
