Mapping Exclusion event- Brussels, Belgium

Mental Health Europe organises an event in the European Parliament, hoisted by Tomáš Zdechovský MEP ( Czech Republic), to present the findings and policy recommendations from the Mapping and Understanding Exclusion report.

The event will examine how European Union (EU) funding can continue to support the inclusion of people with mental health problems through community-based services.

The event will examine:

  • The state of mental health services across Europe (35+ countries)
  • The case for investing in mental health 
  • How EU funding could be used to promote human rights compliant and recovery-oriented mental health services
  • Human rights, mental health and the European situation 
  • The perspective of users of community-based mental health support
