Sustainable Development Goals conference- Brussels, Belgium

The European Disability Forum, in collaboration with the Belgian Disability Forum, organises a conference on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The purpose of the event is to better equip civil society representatives in advocating for disability-inclusive SDGs in Europe and within its Member States.
The objectives of the conference are the following:
- To showcase how the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) should serve as a guiding framework for the implementation and the monitoring of the SDGs;
- To increase understanding and knowledge about the SDGs, particularly the Voluntary National Reviews processes, using Belgium as an example;
- To launch EDF human rights series 2 entitled: “2030 Agenda and SDGs report: A European perspective to respect, protect and fulfil the CRPD”.
