Register for AE’s event at the European Parliament on “Developing the employability of autistic people in Europe: policy and practice”

Join online or in-person (registration needed) our event on employability of autistic people,  hosted by Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Alex Agius Saliba on Tuesday 30th January 2024 at the European Parliament in Brussels.

The event will look at fostering the employability of autistic people in Europe. Two Erasmus+ projects involving Autism-Europe will present their results. Autism Friendly Spaces – The Employability Twist will share the partners consortium’s recommendations to foster an autism-friendly work environment, and success stories of autistic people to access the labour market.

Talenti Latenti will focus on the importance of validating skills and competences of neurodivergent people. The partners consortium will discuss how enhancing skills validation processes can support access to employment for people with disabilities.

The conference will be hosted by MEP Alex Agius Saliba (S&D, Malta), Vice Chair Committee on Petitions and Member of Intergroup on Disability.

It will be possible both to join the event in person at the European Parliament and follow online, so please indicate your choice in the registration form below. Please be aware that the number of seats in the European Parliament is limited.
