Volunteering for people with Autism, by people with Autism

This year has been the European Year of Volunteering 2011, as declared by the Council of the European Union, because: "…volunteering is one of the key dimensions of active citizenship and democracy, putting European values such as solidarity and non-discrimination into action and as such contributing to the harmonious development of European societies".

Autism-Europe Council of Administration member, Pietro, shared his volunteering experiences on the website of the European Year of Volunteering, demonstrating that people with Autism can not only receive assistance from volunteers, but also be great volunteers themselves!
