Judges decide that an autistic child cannot go to a normal school

Judges from the European Court of Human Rights

said no to a mother from France

who wants her autistic son

to go to a normal school.

A judge is a person who decide how to follow the laws.

Laws are rules people must follow.

The European Court of Human Rights is a place

where judges make sure every country in Europe

respects the human rights of everyone.

Human rights are the rights everybody has.

A right is what you can and cannot do.

The judges say the autistic boy has to go to a school for autistic people.

The law in France is that autistic and non-autistic children can be in the same school.

Autism-Europe says that this right should be respected.

For Autism-Europe, schools should have autistic and non-autistic children.
