Autism-Europe works on a new plan for people with disabilities in Europe

Autism-Europe participated in online meetings
on July 1 and 6, 2020.

The online meetings were about a new plan
for people with disabilities in the European Union.

The European Union is a group of 28 countries
from Europe that work together to make laws.

The plan is to make sure that people with disabilities in Europe get the same rights as everyone.

Aurelie is the director of Autism Europe.

She said that a new plan needs to include people
with all types of disabilities.

Autism-Europe wants to make sure that the new plan helps and includes autistic people.

The new plan will begin in 2021.
