href=\"https:\/\/deinstitutionalisation.com\/eeg-publications\/#report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u0160pidla report.<\/a><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;color: #333333\">The conference is supported by DG Employment of the European Commission.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The purpose of the conference is to evaluate the progress made during the 10 years since the \u0160pidla report:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">how has the EU contributed to the transition from institutional to community-based care;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">what needs to be done during the next 10 years?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Among the speakers are people who experience institutionalisation, experts on transition to community-based care and high-profile representatives of the European Commission.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.autismeurope.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Final_AGENDA-Towards-Inclusion.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Download the agenda of the conference<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The EEG is also working on a research to\u00a0evaluate the situation with institutionalisation in EU countries.\u00a0The results of this research will be presented at the time of the
