The purpose of the event is to better equip civil society representatives in advocating for disability-inclusive SDGs in Europe and within its Member States.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The objectives of the conference are the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">To showcase how the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) should serve as a guiding framework for the implementation and the monitoring of the SDGs;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">To increase understanding and knowledge about the SDGs, particularly the Voluntary National Reviews processes, using Belgium as an example;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">To launch EDF human rights series 2 entitled: \u201c2030 Agenda and SDGs report: A European perspective to respect, protect and fulfil the CRPD\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1LdUhmGUmlOO6kO43Ef9rQsqgdt3cjcoqhFBR-A87tIs\/edit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Register<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.edf-feph.org\/sites\/default\/files\/sdgs_flyer_conference_accessible_.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Download flyer<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"more-info\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EDF and the Belgian Disability Forum are holding a conference related with \u00ab\u00a0Sustainable Development Goals\u201d where EDF second Human Rights report will be launched.
