As every year, Autism-Europe is celebrating World Autism Awareness Day (WAAD) on 2 April and throughout the month of April. 2023 also marks a special occasion, as AE celebrates its 40th anniversary. This year’s WAAD campaign will be an opportunity to reflect on the advances made so far for the autism community and the work that remains to improve the lives of autistic people.
In this context, Autism-Europe and MEP Rosa Estarás (EPP, Spain) are organising the conference “Building an inclusive society for autistic people”. Participants will have the chance to hear first-hand experiences from autistic people and learn more on how to foster a more inclusive society for them, as well as key policy-developments to address their challenges.
The conference will take place at the European Parliament, allowing remote access via Webex.
