Autism-Europe subscribes to the Ethical Code of the RE-EF
Autism-Europe adheres to the “Association for Ethical Fundraising” RE-EF Code of Ethics.
This implies :
- that donors, collaborators and employees are informed at least annually about the use of the funds collected;
- that our accounts are certified by an external chartered accountant.
Since 2014, Autism-Europe has been able to provide a tax certificate in Belgium. The agreement that we have is valid until the end of 2025 and will be renewed.
For Belgium, the donator will receive a tax certificate if your donations are equal to or greater than €40 per year. This certificate will automatically be sent to you by post in February of the year following your donation. The data on this tax receipt will be communicated electronically to the Belgian tax authorities, including the national register identification number (or company number if the donor is a company). Donors are asked to provide us with this number.
As a result of its recognition in Belgium, Autisme Europe can provide donors in certain European Union countries (notably Luxembourg and Germany) with a certificate attesting to this recognition to enable their donations to be tax deductible in accordance with their respective national legislation.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions on this subject.
