French national health authority issues new best practice guidelines for autism interventions

New guidelines for autism interventions in France have been introduced by the national health authority. The guidelines aim to improve processes for assessing individual needs of children with autism in each area of functioning and to provide personalised plans to address those needs. The guidelines also aim to improve the overall coordination of services for people with autism.

The guidelines follow public consultations on the needs of people with autism that involved French autism organisations, including members of Autism-Europe.
