Airlines and airports in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States support passengers with autism

Some airlines and airports in Ireland and the United States are now providing visual guides and rehearsals for air travel for passengers with autism.

Some airlines are offering rehearsals for air travel in which individuals with autism and their families can practice buying tickets, walking though security lines and boarding a plane (that never leaves the gate).

Some airports also offer visual guides that assist people with autism to become familiar with the airport, (to see how its looks, and to understand the processes of going through security, boarding a plane and picking up luggage).

More information is available from the National Autistic SocietyDublin airport and the New York Times (English only).
