A guide to auditing and improving services for people with autism has been developed by the National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi) in the United Kingdom.
The guide is part of the ‘Green Light 2013 Toolkit’ produced by NDTi to improve the quality of mental health services for adults with learning disabilities, including autism.
The toolkit also includes:
- An audit framework for reviewing services;
- An ‘easy-to-read’ version of the audit framework and toolkit;
- A database of examples of reasonable adjustments made by services, as a resource for people seeking to innovate and share learning.
The Green Light 2013 Toolkit has been commissioned by the National Health Service Confederation to help services review their own quality and share good practices.
