In May 2015, Autism-Europe submitted its own Alternative Report. The report is in line with the European Disability Forum alternative report, while providing extra insight on inequalities and discrimination against autistic people.
The report examines the implementation of the UN CRPD from an autism perspective and highlights the gaps that prevent the full enjoyment of their rights. It also formulates recommendations to overcome these gaps and respond to the specific needs of people with autism in Europe.
