A conference was held in Linz, Austria on the 18 September to discuss the outcomes of the JoTraDi project in which Autism-Europe was involved.
Based on an initiative developed in Reggio Emilia (Italy), JoTraDi is a training programme for people interested in becoming “job trainers” or tutors for people with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. The aim is to help ease the transition and integration into the workplace for persons with learning and intellectual disabilities by providing the necessary support.
The conference welcomed participants and speakers who gave their input on JoTraDi and the relevance of adequately supporting vocational integration for people with special needs. JoTradi was supported by the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Programme.
