On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, the association ASS des AS (Asperger Association of Nord Pas-de-Calais) is organising its first international exhibition in France under the title “Aspie Days, sharing the experiences and life course of individuals and Asperger autistic high level” to be held in the Grand Palais in Lille on 17 and 18 February 2017.
The association aims to make life easier for people with Asperger syndrome or autism requiring lower levels of support, as well as their families, in the area of Nord Pas-de-Calais in France ( inform, represent, support, exchange, create specific structures …).
Founded in 2007, the ASS des AS association has the specificity of being controlled by a board of directors composed of families and young people with autism and Asperger syndrome. It was born as a result of a meeting between families organised by the CRA (Autism Resource Centre) of Nord Pas-de-Calais and its members continue to maintain a strong partnership. Their office is also found at the CRA.
