Autism-Europe (AE) has opened exciting job opportunities for two new team members. We are currently seeking a Communications Manager and a Project and Policy Officer. These roles offer a chance to contribute significantly to the organization’s mission. Deadline for application is January 8, 2024 and we would ideally like to have the new colleagues on board by the end of February.
- The Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping AE’s public image and disseminating information about both EU projects and AE activities. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing communication strategies, managing social media channels, and overseeing awareness campaigns, particularly around World Autism Awareness Day. The ideal candidate should have at least five years of relevant experience in relevant skills such as digital content creation and strategic communication development. - The Project and Policy Officer will be instrumental in researching and analyzing policies affecting autistic people. Responsibilities include conducting research, drafting reports and policy recommendations, and supporting the planning and coordination of AE´s project activities. The position requires a deep understanding of EU policy-making procedures related to autism and disability rights. Both positions are based in Brussels, offering competitive salaries and benefits, with contracts subject to Belgian law. The starting date is ideally February 2024.
