Europe in Action is an annual conference which brings together more than 200 people with intellectual disabilities, their families and professionals. The conferences are organised by Inclusion Europe and a national partner organisation (Inclusion Europe member).
At this conference, we will listen to people with first-hand experience on the topic: people with intellectual disabilities themselves and their parents. We will also be hearing form specialists working in the field or doing research. The event will be a space for discussion, for exchanging opinions and sharing experiences of how to overcome certain barriers and worries. We hope that through the diversity of speakers, the conference will be a good opportunity for opening up new perspectives, raising awareness of the importance of these themes, and for potential cooperation.
