Autism-Europe is entitled to lodge collective complaints under European Social Charter

The Governmental Committee of the European Social Charter and the European Code of Social Security has approved Autism-Europe’s request for renewal of registration on the list of non-governmental organisations entitled to lodge collective complaints against the violation of the European Social Charter.

The decision was taken during the Committee’s 129th meeting and the renewal will last for the period between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2018.

The European Social Charter is a Council of Europe treaty which guarantees social and economic human rights. It was adopted in 1961 and revised in 1996.
